Get Your Ex Back Advice

If you're looking for actual get your ex back advice, where are you supposed to look? Do you go to friends? Think of the differing pieces of advice you'll get. Some will tell you to call them and try to be romantic. Others will tell you to ignore and avoid them at all costs. Some will even advise that you try to stalk them or get back AT them! If you're going through a break up right now, this should be all too familiar for you. You're confused enough as it is and your friends (even though they are trying to help), are actually making it worse. The single most important piece of advice you'll get right off the bat is this:

Tell your friends and family to stay out of it.

This goes for anyone, whether you're trying to get back a girlfriend, boyfriend, husband, or wife. No matter what they do, no matter what capacity they get involved, they will make things worse. It's as simple as that. If they try to be on your side, whether they're being really nice about it or rude, they will drive your ex further away by making them feel pressured.

And like I mentioned before, they will only offer conflicting advice. So they're totally putting off your ex while confusing you. Sound like something you need right now? I didn't think so.

Now, keep in mind that I'm not telling you to keep secrets from your friends or family. That would hurt you a great deal and you need to get out how you're feeling. You need to talk about how you feel with people. What you need to do, though, is tell them that you don't want advice or tips. Tell them that you just need to talk to them and want a shoulder to cry on. They will feel flattered that you want to confide in them, and you won't get more confused than you already are.

As for actual advice on getting your ex back, that all depends on how far along in the breakup you are. Each situation varies, and it varies even more depending on how long ago it all happened. For example, someone in a breakup from the night before would act very differently than someone with an ex from years ago. Keep that in mind, as it's very important.

Before You Go...

Here's a great tactic you can actually use - Once you've watched it, go get your ex back!

Hopefully this will show you that TW Jackson knows what he's talking about - this isn't your typical advice, but it works. I just wanted to add one quick clarification about the technique though - if you are writing a handwritten letter, don't hint that you want to get back together in the futre. This is important. Leave it at, "This was the right choice."
